Texas Pride provides waste management and recycling services to NFH8.

Collection days are Tuesday and Friday for waste and Tuesdays for waste and recycling.

All materials for collection must be ready for pick up by 7:00 a.m. of the morning of collection. Trash cans and recycling bins must be put away after pick-up and stored out of view from the street.

• Trash – (including bagged leaves, grass). Tues/Fri. Back door pickup. Cans and bags to remain out of view. May be behind closed gate (leave in front of gate on trash day if there’s a dog outside).
• Recycling* – Tues. Bins near house, but in front of gates, clearly labeled, and within view of the street for pickup.
• Branches – Tues/Fri. Curbside. Individual piles not exceeding 5′ long x 3′ wide x 3′ feet high. Branches may not exceed 6″ in diameter.
• Heavy Trash – Tues/Fri. Curbside. 2 items per service day, such as furniture, appliances, carpeting (tied and bundled), fencing (nails removed, tied, bundled under 4′ in length), and other items not disposed of regularly.

* if your recycling is out of sight on Tues or it isn’t clearly labeled, it may not be picked up. Not all residents recycle, so the crew won’t go to your back gate unless they can see your recycling from the street. Curbside recycling is an unpopular option, so this is a compromise and is considered in our contract rate.

If you’re following the guidelines above and are missed regularly, please let the board know so that we can identify the problem.

 
 
Acceptable Recycling Items

Please place the following items dry, clean, and loose in your recycling container. DO NOT BAG your recyclables.
